Miss Hope Truthan – Kindergarten Teacher

  • Joined Heritage Faculty/Staff in: 2019
  • Degree: B.S. in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Intervention Specialist from the University of Akron
  • Favorite Bible Verse: “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
  • How she contributes to HCA’s mission: “With being a Kindergarten teacher, I love being able to teach little minds the foundational skills of reading, writing, and math, but I also have the great privilege to incorporate biblical truths into each of those subjects, to begin planting truth and encouraging a love for Jesus in each of my students. By starting our day in God’s Word, my students are able to hear and learn more about who God is and why it’s important to live lives that honor and glorify Him.”
  • More about Hope: Hope enjoys running, biking, hiking, and being outside with friends and family!
