  • Gratitude: Lord, thank You for the blessing of our school. Thank You for providing the spaces, the people, the materials, and the resources necessary to build a community of learners who seek to know You and learn to live for You.

  • Students: Lord, I pray that each and every student at HCA be drawn into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as his or her Savior. I pray that each student be inspired through his or her academic studies to seek truth, beauty, and goodness, discerning that those qualities ultimately come only from You, our Creator.

  • Teachers: Lord, thank You for HCA’s teachers. May You bless them and help them as they work to cultivate lifelong learners that think and live for Christ.

  • Administration: Lord, we acknowledge that You are to be the ultimate leader of HCA. Please provide our school administrators with the wisdom, discernment, and vision to grow HCA in ways that are pleasing to You.

  • Safety: Lord, let us never take for granted the privilege of freely gathering as professing Christians. Let us not grow immune to the blessings of reading Your Word, singing Your praises, and joining together in prayer. We ask for Your continued protection over our school. We also ask that You strengthen the heart of each student, staff, and family member to live boldly for Christ, no matter the circumstance.
