HCA GOLF CLASSIC VIRTUAL SILENT AUCTION
The entire HCA community is welcome to participate in the Virtual Silent Auction occurring during the golf outing tomorrow! If you would like to participate, please click here to view the items and instructions.
PEPPER PIKE CAMPUS COMMISSIONING
HCA families and friends are invited to the Pepper Pike Commissioning Event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24. This event will be held outdoors, and we encourage you to bring umbrellas in case of rain. View the invitation to learn more. RSVP below! Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to help with parking before and after the service. If you would like to serve on this team, please sign up below.
FALL FEST
The Fall Fest tickets are going fast! Please follow the guidelines for reserving them on the flyer so that as many HCA students can attend as possible. If you reserved tickets and can no longer use them, please email your campus coordinator so we can release them back into the system.
UPCOMING ADMISSIONS EVENTS

DROP-OFF REMINDER
Please remember that Lower School drop-off ends at 8:25 a.m. daily. The back gate at Peninsula and the Lower School drop-off door at Pepper Pike will close promptly at this time.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Parents with children using public transportation, please fill out the form below.
HOT LUNCHES
Hot lunches are available weekly for all K-11th grade students. Chick-fil-A orders are due the Sunday before (served on Tuesday), and pizza orders are due the Monday before (served on Wednesday). Late orders cannot be accepted.
Peninsula and Pepper Pike Lower School families, please refer to the Orientation webpage for the lunch ordering procedures.
Upper School families, please use the following form.
ATTENDANCE REPORTING POLICY
Please note an important change to our Attendance Reporting Policy. For all attendance related communications including absences, tardies, mid-day appointments, and early pick-ups, please do one of the following:
1) Call the appropriate Attendance Line and leave a message.

2) Send an email to the appropriate Attendance Email address.
All absences, tardies, and mid-day appointments should be communicated by 9:00 a.m. Any end of day pick-up changes should be communicated by 1:00 p.m. Please do not contact the Campus Coordinator by email or by phone regarding Attendance related issues. Please continue to share attendance information with your student’s teacher, nurse (when medical), and the Attendance Line or Email.
FAMILY PORTAL ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS
All Parents and 9th through 11th grade students can access the Family Portal to view lesson plans, homework, grades, order lunches, and more!
Please go to the FACTS Management webpage to begin.
Click on For Families and Family Portal Login.
The District Code, Username, and Password are the same for the Family Portal and the App.
The District Code is HCA-OH. Parents, use the username and password you created to set up a FACTS account when applying to the school. Students, use your first initial and last name (ex. Jsmith) for your username and use the password provided by your Principal.
If you need assistance with your username or password, please contact your Campus Coordinator.

PICK-UP REMINDERS
Thank you for helping keep our pick-up lines safe and moving! Even with the increase in students and families this year, we have not had to adjust our dismissal window (3:05-3:25pm). Thank you!

Lane 1 (front) – Last Names A-Q, no Early Childhood, drive up Bronson Street.
Lane 2 (back) – Last Names R-Z, no Early Childhood, drive up Emerson Street.
Lane 3 (back) – Last Names R-Z, all Early Childhood, drive up Emerson Street.
Please do not go around lines of traffic, unless directed by Officer Eddie or a staff member.
LOST & FOUND
Please label your children's sweaters, jackets, lunch boxes, and water bottles. Encourage your child to check our lost and found often! Lost and Found is located near the cafeteria in the bench and cubbies outside the kitchen.

Volunteers are needed! As a lunch and recess monitor, alongside HCA staff, you will assist in opening lunch items for younger students and cleaning between and after lunch periods.
HCA HOUSES CHANT COMPETITION
Tomorrow our Upper School Houses will perform the chants they have created for our Lower School classes in a campus wide gathering. The coveted gargoyle trophy hangs in the balance! Students should wear their house shirts with uniform bottoms this Friday.
PSAT HELP
Starting Friday, September 27, our 10th and 11th grade students will learn about prepping for the PSAT during Rhetoric Seminar. The PSAT will be given to both grades the last week of October. Bess Lee, an HCA parent, will provide our students with test tips.

CROSS COUNTRY MEDIA DAY
Media Day will be Wednesday, September 25, after school at Pepper Pike. Individual and team photos will be taken, and digital copies will be emailed to parents.
