OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Heritage will participate in Operation Christmas Child again this year. Each family is invited to pack a shoe box to share the gospel with children all over the world. HCA will distribute a box and letter with instructions to each family in early November and collect boxes November 11-22 at each campus.
ADMISSIONS
Admissions season is upon us and online applications are officially open! We continue to see a high demand for admission to Heritage. This past year, many children remained on waiting pool lists for a number of classes. Given the level of inquiry and attendance at recent admissions events, we expect another strong year of enrollment. We offer Priority Enrollment for current families until January. We encourage you to apply for your children who are not current students by logging into your Family Portal, click "apply/enroll", select "application", then "click here to add an application" from the main screen. Contact our Admissions Director, Laura Calo, at laura.calo@heritageclassicalacademy.org with any questions.
ANNUAL GOLF OUTING
We are excited to share the highlights from our Annual Golf Outing, held at Hudson Country Club on Friday, September 20. This fantastic fundraiser brought together golf enthusiasts for a day filled with camaraderie and competition, all in support of our Annual Fund.
Participants enjoyed a raffle and silent auction, with proceeds directly benefitting the Annual Fund, which provides crucial tuition assistance for students and supports deeper investment in our faculty and staff. One of the standout moments was Mr. Spacek’s winning bid for a round of golf with Jason Kokrak, an American professional golfer in the LIV Golf League, who was once ranked #21 in the world. We invite you to mark your calendars and join us next year.
THE GRIFFIN RUNDOWN
The Griffin Rundown podcast is back for the 2024-25 school year! Listen here every Tuesday morning for the latest episode.
CONVERT YOUR OHIO TAX DOLLARS TO HCA SCHOLARSHIPS!
The state of Ohio’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) tax credit authorizes donors who contribute to K-12 student scholarships through a certified SGO to receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction in their state taxes up to $750 per individual taxpayer ($1,500 per couple). Last year, families and friends of Heritage redirected over $300,000 tax dollars to HCA through this tax credit opportunity. If every HCA family participates this year, we have the potential to raise over $600,000! Learn more here.

SPIRIT WEEK
Points have been tallied and we have a House winner! Houses could collect points in 3 categories; Spirit Wear, Number of Crusaders for House Theme, and Best Theme. Congratulations to Prudens for their 1st Place win!
NEXT HOUSE COMPETITION
Our next House Competition will center around one of the core elements of our House system: service. We are going to partner with Operation Christmas child to pack a shoe box to share the gospel with children around the world. Let’s see which House can bring in the most boxes! Boxes will be handed out in early November, so get ready to fill them with thoughtful gifts and essentials. Once your boxes are packed, turn them in to your House Dean to earn credit for your House. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children globally while fostering a spirit of generosity and community within our school. Let’s come together and serve others!
